Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose) These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Rateey (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and users (hereinafter referred to as "Members") in relation to the use of the services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions) "Service" refers to all functionalities provided by the Company’s platform that allow Members to participate in voting and rating based on gender, age, and MBTI information. "Member" refers to an individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service provided by the Company. "Content" includes all information such as text, images, and ratings provided or shared by Members within the Service. "Voting and Rating" refers to the act of Members providing star ratings and opinions based on the information submitted by other Members.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms) These Terms apply to all Members using the Service. The Company may modify these Terms if necessary, and changes will be notified to Members in advance via Service notifications or email. Members who do not agree with the revised Terms may discontinue using the Service. Continued use of the Service will be deemed as acceptance of the modified Terms.

Article 4 (Membership Registration and Account Management) Membership registration is completed by agreeing to these Terms and submitting required information, followed by approval from the Company. Members must keep their account information accurate and up to date and must not use others’ information. Members may not transfer or share their accounts with third parties.

Article 5 (Service Usage and Restrictions) Members may freely use the Service provided by the Company, but they must comply with relevant laws and these Terms. The Company may restrict Service usage in the following cases: Posting inappropriate content Unauthorized collection and sharing of others' information Interfering with Service operations Violating Company policies

Article 6 (Members’ Rights and Responsibilities) Members are responsible for managing their personal information and must not infringe on the rights of others. Members must actively cooperate with the Company regarding any issues that arise during Service use. Members are responsible for their activities within the Service and must not engage in illegal activities.

Article 7 (Company’s Rights and Responsibilities) The Company has an obligation to provide stable services to Members. The Company complies with legal requirements related to Service operations and strives to protect Members' information. The Company may restrict or suspend Members' access to the Service without prior notice if they violate these Terms.

Article 8 (Privacy Protection and Management) The Company implements appropriate security measures in accordance with relevant laws to protect Members' personal information. Members' personal information is not shared with third parties without their consent, and further details are outlined in the Privacy Policy. Members must take precautions to protect their account information and should not share it with others.

Article 9 (Service Modification and Termination) The Company may change parts or all of the Service as needed for improvement. If the Service must be discontinued for unavoidable reasons, the Company will provide prior notice to Members.

Article 10 (Disclaimers) The Company is not responsible for Service disruptions caused by force majeure, such as natural disasters, power outages, or server failures. The Company is not liable for issues arising from Members’ violation of these Terms.

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution and Governing Law) Any disputes between the Company and Members shall be resolved through mutual consultation. In the event of a legal dispute, Korean law shall be the governing law, and the competent court shall be the one where the Company’s headquarters is located. Supplementary Provisions: These Terms shall take effect from February 14, 2025.
